Christmas this year was so much fun! It is such a different feeling when you have a child and I know it will get better with each year. All I can say is that Shelby was very SPOILED this year. Everyone went way overboard and we appreciate everything she got!!!!
The theme this year or so it seemed was: RIDING TOYS!
She got a RODY from Betsy which is like a hard inflatable horse that is adorable. She loves grabbing on the ears and once her feet hit the ground, I’m sure she will be bouncing along!!!
She got a wagon, 2 tricycles (one Univ. of Michigan one from Aunt Cheri & Uncle Bugsy), 2 ride on/push toys, and daddy got her a go-kart. Yes, one that actually moves on its own (she hasn’t learned how to push the button yet). She got lots of clothes, books, and a ton of other toys including the fisher price sing a long stage where she looks in the mirror and dances to the songs…she loves it and has started to be obsessed with mirrors and giving herself kisses.
The Christmas visits were a little rough on her as we did both sides of the family both days, but she pushed through and only got a little crabby, but mommy & daddy were happy that everyone got to enjoy Shelby this year!!
We cannot wait until next year when she has a little more understanding of what is going on!!!
