Almost ONE!

Shelby is learning so much these days. I can’t believe she is turning ONE soon!!! She isn’t quite walking yet, but we anticipate it being any day now. She is pulling herself up on everything and walking behind her toys. She stood up for about 15 seconds last night and almost took a step, until she chickened out. She is laughing a lot, waving, pointing, clapping. She says mama and dada on a regular basis and is babbling non stop. Her papa is very determined to get her to say papa…..he comes over and just whispers it over and over in her ear!!!! I’m surprised he hasn’t given us a tape to play at night while she is sleeping….learning through osmosis…”papapapapapapapapapapapapa”!! She truly loves all of her grandparents though!!!

She looooovees Schooner and he is starting to warm up to her a little bit. She knows which toys are his and is always trying to give them to him and when he actually does take them, she claps and laughs!!!

She is on about ½ and ½ table/baby food. She eats when she wants...sometimes like a piggy and other times not so much. Her favorites are definitely toast and cheese…oh and vanilla ice cream when either one of her grandpa’s try to sneak it to her!!
