Florida!

We went to Florida again!! We left the day after Christmas. I can’t believe that Shelby has taken 4 round trip plane rides before she turned one!! We had GREAT weather and Shelby got to go swimming a lot with mommy & daddy. She loves being in the pool!!! It was nice to see Aunt Peg & Uncle Jim, Gray Gray, and Uncle Dave & Aunt Evy (and even Amy & Chris and family this year). She had fun getting pushed around on the old people’s walker….we thought we may have to go out and get another Christmas present from the medical supply store!!!

Shelby got to take lots of walks in her stoller and new wagon (she got 2, one for Florida, one for home). She didn’t sleep that great, but crazy Grandma (Linda) was there to help! Thank God!

We did have a rough trip home. Our flight was delayed a while so we had lots of time in the airport to kill and by the time we got on the plane, she was overtired. She fussed for the first ¾ of the flight until she finally fell asleep. She probably cried for a total of 30 minutes (Not straight, thankfully). We were doing everything we could to not be THOSE people and console her. But with a combination of her ears and teeth, it was a rough one!! There was a flight attendant sitting behind us (not working) and he said she behaved great and the crying was “NOTHING”. It made me feel a little better.

She definitely is a little FREQUENT FLYER now!
