Stats: (estimates)
Weight & Length: 28.5 lbs and 35"
Shoe size: 7 (recent growth spurt and went from 5's to 7's!)
Clothing: Still in a lot of 2T, but I'm buying 3T's for winter!
Schedule:
Waketime: Shelby gets up anywhere from 6:15-7:00am....we tried the tot clock which uses colors to indicate when she CAN get up and it basically didn't work with her...on weekends we try to let her come into bed with us when she gets up to sneak a few more minutes in...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Naps: At daycare, she naps like a champ, average of 2 hours every day! We still struggle with her on weekends...one of us usually has to lay down with her and we are lucky to get an hour.
Bedtime: Bedtime is right around 8:00 pm. We start the bath process around 7:15 and she winds down watching Caillou (Most annoying cartoon ever) and after a few books, and some stalling, she usually is sleeping by 8:30.
Favorites:
Food: Shelby loves most fruit, especially apples and grapes! She has always been a pretty good eater and goes in spurts of eating like a bird and eating like a pig. She loves spaghetti and any type of pasta. She has been getting more sweets lately but since she is a good eater, we let her!
TV Shows: Caillou, Max and Ruby, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Toy: Her dolls, play food, books, games
Learning: Shelby is still struggling with speech but we have had remarkable improvement with the amount of words and repeating, but her pronunciation is still poor. She has been going to speech therapy for about 9 months now and it is definitely helping. She is starting to put 3-4 word sentences together and really starting to express herself.
She is starting to count and recognize letters.
Other:
Shelby is about 75% potty trained. She is pretty much ok when it comes to #1 and wears underwear a good amount of time, but still has not mastered #2...I think she is scared or something so I'm looking for advice on how to teach her this...I think she has to just want to do it because that is how it was with #1, one day it just clicked.
Shelby is a great big sister...she is so affectionate with Sam and is always trying to help.
She has a great sense of humor and loves to tease!
We are so lucky to have Shelby in our lives!
