Happy 6 Months Samantha!

Samantha turned six months last week! I can't believe she has been her 1/2 a year!! We took her to the doctor and here are her stats:

Length is 26.5 in (50-75%)
Weight is 18.1 lbs (75-90%)
Head Circumference is 16.75% (50%)

The doctor is pleased with her growth and said she is a very healthy baby. She is smiling and talking up a storm! She sits up for a few minutes at a time and is ALMOST rolling over. I brought up my concern of her lack of rolling over to the doctor and the doc is not concerned yet....especially since she is so close! I just think she may be too heavy to get herself over!! Speaking of heavy, we had to transfer her to the convertible car seat already.....we didn't do that with Shelby until she was 9 months (when she hit 18 lbs!) I just couldn't carry her up and down the stairs at daycare anymore! So, we had to get 2 new car seats...Cale ended up finding a good deal on Recaro's and now they are both in my car.

She is grabbing things including Shelby's hair!! She still loves her swing! She also loves her bath and splashes so much that I almost always end up soaked. She does NOT like getting dressed after her bath....it is at this time and when she is really hungry are basically the only times she is really fussy!

She is sleeping longer stretches, I am consistently getting from 10-6 which is nice if her sister didn't wake up 2-3 times per night....every couple of nights she wakes up to feed, but goes right back down!

We started her on rice cereal last week and she seems to like it a lot! We are excited to start other foods in the upcoming weeks!! Not looking forward to those diapers though!!
