On Friday, Cale & I took her to Rainforest Café in Great Lakes Crossing….no reason other than we wanted to go someplace different that Shelby would enjoy. She loved it…all of the animals and noises! She sat right across from the fish tank and was staring intently at it! She colored for a little bit but then got distracted by her cup of water. IT came with a straw and she kept tipping the cup over like it was a sippy and getting soaked! She then kept trying to get the straw in and out…..this kept her quiet I guess!!! She had macaroni & cheese which she got EVERYWHERE!!! But she enjoyed it!! She had fun waving to all of the animals and was a very good girl at the restaurant.
We then walked around the mall for a little while and while I went to the restroom, her daddy bought her a new racecar….he swore she picked it out herself!!!
Saturday & Sunday she went swimming at Cale’s Aunt Laura & Uncle Bill’s!! She loved swimming!! She also loved looking at the ducks!!! We loved it because she actually slept in on Sunday morning. Sunday is Cale’s day to get up with her and she didn’t start crying to get out of her crib almost 7:30!! A new record!!!
We are still having issues with getting her to nap on the weekends which probably contributes a little to the sleeping in.
She is a little monkey lately and climbing on everything. She uses her chair to get up onto the couch and then runs back and forth until she gets yelled at. The four most used words in our house is: “Shelby, on your butt!”
