Melts in your mouth AND in your nose!

So....we had to make a quick trip to the ER on Monday. Shelby put a mini M&M up her nose. So, we were sitting at dinner and I had given her some mini M&M's because she ate all her chicken and veggies. I was actually trying to stall as I was still feeding Sam. So, I look away for a second and then look at Shelby and she points to her nose and says there is an M&M up there. I start to freak which scares her so she denies it real quick. We get the flashlight and could not see anything so we think maybe she is pulling our leg.

So, I finish feeding Sam, get her in the bath, and Shelby comes in the bathroom and says she has a runny nose (which she does all the time). I hand her kleenex and she hands it back after she wipes, and sure enough....it is brown (chocolate, I assume). So I call to Cale and he gets Shelby who now tells him that it hurts.

Cale's mom comes over to watch Sam and we head to the hospital. We go in Pediatric Urgent Care in hopes to avoid a $50 ER copay, but since it is a foreign object up her nose, we have to be admitted to ER.

So, an after registration and some waiting, doc comes in...looks up both nostrils and down her throat and says there is nothing there, it must have dissolved.

As we were checking out, Shelby asked for stickers, since that is what she usually gets at the doctor...they didn't have any so they gave her a Teddy Bear....I call it the $50 Teddy Bear.

Life is never dull around our house!!
