I am estimating her weight at 17lb 3 oz based on the scientific method of stepping on the scale with her and without her and subtracting the difference. She is staying on track of the 75-90% for weight! She has blown out of the 6 month clothes before she got a chance to wear most of them and is now moving into the 9 month clothes!
She lost most of her hair this month....I was so sad to see that beautiful, soft, blonde hair go but am interested in seeing how it grows back. She smiles a ton and has found her voice. She loves being talked to and will hold a pretty good conversation with you. She loves the bath and that is one thing I can do if I need to calm her down.
I usually put her in her swing after her bath and a feeding around 8:00 so I can get Shelby to bed and then nurse her again before I go to bed and that will usually keep her satisfied until from 3:00-5:00am where she eats again and goes back down. So I'm really only up once (WITH SAM, Shelby is a different story) at night and she is getting very efficient and I can usually feed her and be back in bed within 20 minutes. We did wean her from the swaddle earlier this month and although the first few days were rough, she is sleeping great now.
She hasn't rolled over yet, but is giving it a lot of effort and I'm sure it is coming soon! We did put her in the exersaucer this month and she seems to like that as well!
Here are a few pictures from this month.
