Yes, it has been over 6 weeks since I have updated Shelby's blog and I feel AWFUL about it. I've wanted to do it, but then I don't know where to pick up since it has been awhile. Shelby is just full of energy lately, a full blown 2 year old...by the time I pick her up from daycare, get her home, fed, bathed and in bed...I'm exhausted....it doesn't help that I'm getting pretty uncomfortable and TIRED in my pregnancy so once I get her to bed, I don't want to do ANYTHING. I know that is no excuse so I will try to make up for it in the next couple of weeks.
But a quick rundown on the last month or so....
-Cale & I went on vacation and left Shelby home with her grandparents....she split the time between the two sets and had a great time at both!! We are very lucky that both sets are so close and so willing to help us out whether we are on vacation or caught up at work and I cannot say thank you enough to them.
-Shelby went in for a speech evaluation and will be starting speech therapy soon (details to come in another post).
-Shelby is in the beginning stages of potty training and is doing pretty good....she tells us when she has to go a good amount of the time...hopefully we can be done with diapers by the time Baby #2 gets here!
-Shelby is obsessed with the color purple....we have heated discussions in the morning over what she is going to wear....I only win some of the time.
-Shelby started/finished swimming lessons....the water was pretty cold so she would only last 15-20 minutes but she did enjoy herself!!
