The last couple nights, it's been really hard to get Shelby to sleep. Tonight was one of the worst...it took 2 hours and she cried most of the time...it is sooooo heartbreaking for me when she cries, especially when there are real tears....maybe she had a stomachache tonight. Rocking didn't work, nursing her didn't work, daddy's voice didn't work, the swing didn't work...finally, she just gave up in our arms after about 2 hours....
The bright side is she is still very happy during the day....I love getting the huge smile when I go get her in her crib in the morning. When I get home, I get about 2 hours before she starts winding down and getting fussy before bedtime...I treasure those 2 hours.
